This reference from 1923, shows the use of Kaolin in Cholera patients. Kaolin binds to harmful bacteria in the gut. It is also electrical in nature in acidic solutions with a slightly positive charge. That being said I can assume it will also bind to the rGO molecule which carries a negative charge. The authors state that Kaolin has been used with success in Cholera, Dysentery, chronic ulcerative colitis and acute enteritis.
Finding a good quality kaolin clay IS a problem. There are a lot on Amazon but? one from the Ukraine?
Kaolin pectin, a liquid preparation of kaolinite plus pectin fiber, can be used to treat diarrhea and internal sores or stomach ulcers within the digestive tract. It’s believed to work by attracting and holding on to bacteria and germs that can cause diarrhea.
The most common industrially produced kaolinite preparations for treatment of diarrhea include attapulgite and bismuth subsalicylate (the active ingredient in Pepto-Bismol). Other brand names sold in the U.S. include Kaodene NN, Kaolinpec and Kapectolin.
Another traditional use of this clay has been soothing upset stomachs. In some parts of the world, historically people have used kaolinite internally to suppress their appetite and support detoxification.

The original active ingredients were kaolinite and pectin. In the US, the active ingredient is now bismuth subsalicylate (the same as in Pepto-Bismol).
It was demonstrated that it is possible to modify kaolin with sodium carbonate solution in different concentrations. These modified solids can be used as effective antacid drugs.
They have modified it in pharmaceutical applications which results in alkaline pH in stomach and therefore MORE GO absorption!
